Make It Monday #93: Splitting Die Cuts

Hello my fellow Bloggers! Just a quick share for Make It Monday #93.  For my splitting die, I used the Half and Half die for this card. First stamped my card base with Hero Arts - Woodgrain for the background. I then stamped my sentiments from Movers and Shakers in black ink - PTI.  I cut my Half and Half die from Kraft Cardstock stamped it with Houndstooth background stamp, then layered it with Vellum on top to achieved a subtle look. The Banner die was from MFStamps. Added some rhinestones at the bottom of my half and half die, added a seam-binding on the top of the card, and attached my old KaiserCraft - Resin flower in white.

Supplies:
Stamps: Houndstooth, Movers & Shakers, and HA - Woodgrain
Cardstock: White and kraft - PTI
Ink: Onyx Black & Smokey Grey ink - Versafine, Soft Stone - PTI
Diecuts: Half & Half die - PTI  and Mftstamp Banner die
Others: Rhinestones, Vellum, White Resin flower

Hope you guys enjoy!

Hello Bloggers! Just want to do a quick post today for Simon Says Stamp Challenge about giving Thanks. On my card I used the new Glitz Design Stamp set, papers, and washi tape Polka dot coral. The paper pieced flower are from the old line of My Mind's Eye Lost & Found "lovely" I think this little flowers matched my cards perfectly. Don't you think?

For My Hubby

You & Me
This card is for my Hubby who understand my craziness about crafting
I love you so much!

Hello... I hope you guys are having a great day!
I just want to share this card, I was experimenting with October Afternoon Sprinklers which I've been hoarding forever. I can never seem to get the drops of the Sprinklers to go where I want to. After so many tries here's what I came up with. First I distressed the piece of the white card stock with Worn Lipstick by Ranger, once I reached my desired color I sprinkled it with OA Paper Doily and Buttermilk Sprinklers. Distressed the 3 sides of my card with Prima Fluid Chalk Ink Teak Wall. Next, I cut some button twine to attached on my card for added interest, attached my paper piece image from Glitz Design Hello Friend rubber stamps. Oh ... by the way I embossed the the image with gold embossing powder by Ranger. Just can't stop using gold embossing power, I really like how it adds shine on my card.

Now for the added embellishment, I die cut the oval from Happy Hydrangea's die collection from PTI, I then stamped it with the sentiment from same stamp collection Hello Friend, I then added some wood veneer starts from Studio Calico, and Spool Buttons from Pink Paislee London Market.

Hope you guys enjoyed it.
Thanks for looking.

Make It Monday #91: Faux Pockets

Hello Card

Hello Bloggers, here is my take on  Make It Monday #91. The card base I used is vintage cream cardstock, then stamped it with the trio rose image from The Sweet Life stamp set (pti) only on the top of my card base. Then I adhere the paper piece I cut to fit on my A2 card from October Afternoon - 9 to 5 line (Coffee Break), then I added the die cut from Cherry Lynn Designs - Fanciful Flourish, and then added my rolled flower made out of my old ribbons from Michaels with hand cut leaves from October Afternoon 8x8 paper pad 5&Dime. The butterfly stamp was embossed with gold embossing powders by Ranger. The stamp image is from the new line of Glitz Design Hello Friend.

The tag I used is from Tag sale #2, the stamp was from Heart-2-Heart #4, hopefully you can see the phone  image was also embossed with gold embossing powder, and stamped with the heart stamp from same set with Raspberry Fizz. The Hello sentiment is from Happy Hydrangea and MY SWEET FRIEND sentiment is from the Pretty Peonies, just covered the hello and the dotted line part of the stamp. Mostly all supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless noted.

Here's another look of the card.
Hope you guys enjoy!

Papertrey Ink Make it Monday #90: Creating Focal Point Sentiments with Stamps & Dies 2

Thankful For You

Hello my fellow Bloggers :) Just want to share my 2nd take on this MIM #90. This time I used the Think Big Favorites #19 stamp set, covered the Thankful part of the stamp so I can incorporate the Script Alphabet die collection as my focal point. The card base is Vintage cream cardstock, Dark chocolate from PTI, and the other paper was from my MME from Miss Caroline "Home" line. I included the striped washi tape for added interest on my card, since I really wanted to use it :). I also used the Text Style stamp as a background for my card. The text style stamp from 7gypsies (I actually got this stamp from Michaels). The leaves are from the Autumn Acorns, I embossed it so it will have that gold sheen to it. I added the twine on top of the Autumn Acorn leaves and top it with paper pieced flower from the old MME Lost & Found paper.

Here you can see I added some glossy accents on that paper pieced flower. The doily you see here is from that new stamp from Glitz Design "Hello Friend" I just love using this stamp. This doily was also embossed with gold embossing powder by Ranger.

In here you can see I embossed the leaves from Autumn Acorns.
Hope you guys like it.

Papertrey Ink Make it Monday #90: Creating Focal Point Sentiments with Stamps & Dies

Hello Bloggers...just want to share my take for PTI Make it Monday #90. I used the Block Alphabet die as my focal point and distressed it with worn lipstick by Ranger. The houses are from the October 2012 released Winter Hills, I just can't stop using this little house in this collection. I just like it :) The sentiment is from the Love Lives Here. The clouds were from the new line of Glitz Design Hello Friend. The Flower I paper pieced was from the old line of MME Lost & Found.

As you can see here, I also added some foam tape on the Block Alphabet to add some dimensions.

I hope you guys like it.
Thank you so much for looking!

Make It Monday #89: Creating Windows for Floating Images

 Live Simply Love Much

Hi Bloggers,

Another take on MIM. I tried to use the Winter Hills stamp this time. I really like this stamp don't you? In this card I used vintage cream cardstock (PTI) for my card base. I die cut the front of the card with Spellbinders nestabilities Labels 18 and then stamped the trees from Winter Hills with Classic Kraft ink from PTI. I did try to add some shadows using gray copic color W3 at the bottom of the trees, but I don't think it really shows well since I put lots of glitters on the trees to imitate snow. I did really like how it turned out though.  I then stamp the house image with Memory box Wild Hare ink pad then color it with copics using W3 for the walls of the house and then W6 for the roof. I then paper pieced the image and add glitters on the roof using Diamond Stickles. I then attached the clear cardstock and attached my paper pieced image on top of the card to add interest.

Here is the inside of the card... I then again stamped the tree and the house image from Winter Hills collection. I also did add glitters from Martha Stewart and Diamond Stickles. The sentiment I used is from the Winter Hills collection.  I then die cut the heart from Flipping Out collection using pure poppy cardstock.

Here is another look of the card. I hope you guys enjoy.

Make It Monday #89: Creating Windows for Floating Images

Wishing You Every Joy and Happiness On Your Special Day

Happy Friday :)

Its another Make It Monday! I've been wanting to participate for so long now, finally I got a chance to do it this time.  This is my first time to incorporate floating images on any of my card, I think I like it. Its really fun doing this card.

First, let me share with you what I did. I used vintage cardstock from PTI as my card base. I stamped my card base with Lace Bouquet (PTI), then die cut it with oval limitless layers. I then adhear the die cut from Simply Jane that I stamped it with the frame image with Wild Hare ink from Memorybox, and embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I then attached the clear cardstock from the inside of the card then attached the Heart-2-Heart #9 die in front of the card from the new PTI October release. For the ink I used the Hero Arts - Cup O' Joe for my cake to make it look like its chocolate. I then adhear the flower I paper pieced from MME - the old Lost and Found collection papers to add additional interest on my cake.

Here is the look inside of the card, again I stamped the inside with Lace Bouquet (PTI). The sentiment is from the Half & Half stamp collection (PTI).

Here is the side view look of the card with the floating image.

So Very Thankful

Hello...
For this post I used the new October released stamp from PTI Winter Hills. I really love this house image from the collection. I also used the Heart-2-Heart #6 die for the clouds and distress it with Aqua Mist ink to add interest. The sentiments I used are from Table Service - PTI (for you hospitality) and Pretty Patches (so very thankful) - WPlus9 stamps. The base card is Vintage cream cardstock from PTI. Papers are from the old Echo Park and Crate Papers.

In this view you can see I used some adhesive foam tape just to pop-it up a bit and used copics BG10, E43. The ink from Versafine - Smokey Shadow

Hope you enjoy!
